Regulations in force from April 5, 2022
 

I.    General Terms and Conditions  

  1. The Organizer of the Online Event (the “Event”) is PMI Poland Chapter based in Warsaw (02-672), at ul. Domaniewska 47/10, NIP 525-227-89-73. 
  2. This document sets the conditions of participation in the Event.  
  3. The website https://pmi.org.pl/wydarzenia-i-projekty/pmp-study-group-en/ provides the official information about the Event. The email address, pmpstudy@pmi.org.pl, is the formal communication channel between a Participant and the Organizer. 
  4. Before a Participant registers to the Event, s/he is obliged to get acquainted with these Terms and Conditions and accept their content. 
  5. Definitions of the used terms: 
  • Event or Online Event – the Event organized by the Organizer through the Online Event Platform.  
  • Online Event Platform – any Internet application, website, platform, or other online environment used by the Organizer for the purposes of hosting the Online Event. 
  • Organizer – PMI Poland Chapter based in Warsaw (02-672), at ul. Domaniewska 47/10, NIP 525-22789-73 – the entity organizing the Event.  
  • Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) – the following regulations of the Event.   
  • GDPR – Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April, 27 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.   
  • Speaker – an Event Participant who raised a request to perform and was chosen by the Organizer to lead the Event. S/He has a right to broadcast a voice through a microphone and a video through a camera or a computer.   
  • Participant – a person who is at least 18 years of age and has full legal capacity or is a legal person.    
 

II. Technical Requirements   

  1. The Event will be hosted through an Online Event Platform, chosen by the Organizer, allowing creation of virtual online events.   
  2. A Participant who wants to participate in the Event has to own working technical equipment (a laptop/computer, camera, and microphone), Internet access with an installed web browser with plug-in that supports JavaScript, with enabled "cookies" and e-mail, which will allow him/her to connect to the Event Online Platform. 
  
 

III. Online Event participation rules.   

  1. The Event takes place online.   
  2. All details concerning the Event are available on the Organizer’s website. A Speaker reserves the right to change a program for reasons beyond his/her control.  
  3. Participation in the Event broadcast is free of charge for PMI Poland Chapter members or PMI other chapters members. Non-members will have to pay 140 PLN or 30 EUR fee to participate.  Payment is handled through the website https://pmpstudygroup2022.syskonf.pl .  
  4. The condition to participate in the Event is filling in a registration form ( https://pmpstudygroup2022.syskonf.pl  ).   
  5. Once a registration form is completed, a Participant will receive a registration confirmation at the e-mail address provided during a registration.   
  6. The Organizer will send to a Participant a link to the online Event broadcast. It will be provided to an email address given during a registration and sent to a Participant before the scheduled date of the Event.   
  7. A Participant undertakes not to share the link with other - unregistered persons. If the link is made available to unauthorized persons, access to the Event broadcast may be blocked.   
  8. During the Event, Participants will be able to ask a Speaker questions over a chat (in real time), which will appear in a chat window and will be seen by a Speaker. In addition, the Organizer may appoint a person conducting the Event, hereinafter referred to as a Moderator, who will be able to support the Event (e.g. when problems occur, or to read participants' questions aloud) in accordance with the Event program. In special cases, the Organizer, a Speaker or a Moderator has the right to change an Event program, give the floor on formal issues, or determine the order of speech during the discussion, if this disturbs the order of the Events program.   
  9. Event Participant, by accepting the Terms, agrees to share the collected data, i.e. the name and surname, with other Participants during the chat.   
  10. It is forbidden to film, record and photograph Event Participants without the Organizer’s consent.   
 

IV. Organizer’s responsibility   

1. The Organizer shall not be liable for:   
  • Lack of Internet access, preventing a registration or limiting its availability.   
  • Poor technical conditions of a Participant's computer or other device and Internet transmission necessary to participate in the Event.   
  • Participant’s or third parties damages and/or lost profits caused by providing false data by a person making a registration.   
  • Participant’s or third parties damages and/or lost profits caused by the cancellation of the Event by the Organizer as a result of force majeure (random events beyond the control of the Organizer).    
 

V. Processing of personal data   

  1. The data administrator is PMI Poland Chapter, based in Warsaw (02-672), at ul. Domaniewska 47/10, KRS 0000167986, NIP 525-227-89-73, REGON 015543424.   
  2. Contact details of the data administrator: biuro@pmi.org.pl.   
  3. With regards to the personal data processing, a participant have the following rights:   
    -   Consent withdrawal – if the data is processed on the basis of consent   
    -   Access to the data – information about what data, for what purpose, and for what period of time is processed.   
    -   Correction, change, and update of data.  
    -   Request data deletion.   
    -   Request limitation of data retention.   
    -   Raising an objection.   
    -   Data transfer.   
    -   Submit a complaint to the supervisory authority.   
  4. ​Providing personal data is voluntary, but it is a condition of participation in the Event, in accordance with the formula in which it will be organized.  
  5. Personal data of Participants obtained to run the Event in the process of the Event registration and during the Event broadcasting (i.e. name and surname, e-mail address) will be processed for the purpose of:  

    a) Organizing and conducting the Event in accordance with the Terms, including in particular: creating a list of Participants, sending information regarding the Event agenda and other organizational information, ensuring the possibility of asking questions during the Event, which is realization of the statutory Association objectives like promotion of project management professionalism in business, organizations, and academic centers as well as supporting, adopting and disseminating best project management practices in Poland, and stimulating public awareness in this field (Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR).  

    b) Sending e-mail communication (including commercial information) concerning the Organizer's products and services, in particular presented during the Event (Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR). (optional consent) 

    c) Investigation and defense against possible claims (Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR).   

    d) Networking, i.e. sharing the Participant's personal data (e-mail address) with external companies for the purpose of promotion or making contact (Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR). (optional consent) Personal data referred to in ‘a’ section above will be made available to people involved in the organization of the Event, including IT service providers and an Online Platform used to register for events. Personal data will be processed for the period in which the Organizer (Administrator) is obliged to keep the data because of possible controls/audit related to the organization of the Events and for the period of outdating of claims resulting from applicable law. With regard to personal data processed on the basis of consent to receive marketing information, they will be processed until the consent is withdrawn, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing which was carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.  
     
  6. A Participant's personal data will be stored on servers located in the European Union.  
  7. A Participant's personal data will not be processed in an automated manner, nor will they be subject to profiling.   
  8. The Organizer takes all appropriate security measures in accordance with the law and generally accepted principles to protect the confidentiality of information. Information, including personal data, is secured adequately to the level of risk they generate.  
 

VI. Intellectual property  

  1. A title and a program of the Event, including the website, layout, logos, graphics, photos, audio and video files used to promote the Event, as well as presentations, are the property of the Organizer or a third party (if so marked) and are legally protected.  
  2. Participants undertake to use all materials presented therein only for their own personal use.  
  3. The above trademarks  and materials may not be used without the written consent of the Organizer or a third party who is the owner of the rights, in particular, they may not be used in connection with third party products or services in a way that may mislead the Organizer's potential customers or otherwise harm the Organizer. Copying the conference materials and / or recording the Event online, as well as sharing such materials and recordings is illegal and is subject to criminal liability in accordance with the Act of February 4, 1994 on copyright and related rights. 
  4. A participant or any third party may not remove, cover, make it impossible to read or alter any trademarks, copyright notices or other proprietary notices contained in any material relating to the Event.  
 

VII. Final terms  

  1. Any complaints of Participants of the Event against the Organizer should be submitted by e-mail to the following e-mail address: pmpstudy@pmi.org.pl . A correctly submitted complaint should contain at least the following data: name and surname, e-mail address, subject of the complaint, circumstances justifying the complaint. The Organizer will respond to the complaint immediately, not later than within 7 days from the date of its submission. The decision regarding the complaint will be forwarded to a Participant’s e-mail address. 
  2. The Terms are available when completing a registration form.   
  3. Any disputes regarding the organization of subscriptions are resolved by the Project Supervisor of PMP study group 2022 which is a PMI Poland Chapter Board member. Disputes regarding the performance of the agreement are resolved by the common court.   
  4. In the case of Participants who are consumers, any disputes will be resolved by the competent common court, and the consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures.   
  5. The rules of these Terms constitute an integral part of Event participation application and apply to all Participants.   
  6. The Organizer has the right to change a date of the Event. Participants will be notified about it by e-mail.   
  7. The Organizer has the right to make changes to these Regulations, about which the Participants will be notified by e-mail.
